Live React: Kelli reads a 30 year old letter from the convent

For the first time...

And probably the last.

Hey friends. I was going to release this the day after Easter, which means I sat on this for TEN DAYS because I was embarrassed about how preachy the actual full letter was.

Hoping Intentionally Gazette is a reader-supported publication. It will always be free, but every penny goes to support my storytelling and health related work with isolated queer and trans folks.

But then I decided, for the video I would just react to the part about the basketball game. I’ve included the full letter below here. If you’re really interested, you can read it. Don’t mind me, I’ll just sit here, flush with embarrassment.

If you want to read the rest, reply and I’ll send it to you. The end is every bit as preachy as the beginning, though. You’ve been warned!

I guess I’m including it because it’s a good reminder that we can all change and become more inclusive and loving towards the rest of the people who share the planet with us. I’m pretty sure we all need THAT hope right now.

Coming next week: Everything I Needed To Learn About Being The Working Class Elizabeth Taylor, I Learned From My Mom.

PS Remember how I promised mail-order access to the Unbrickable Collection? For a short time only, you can donate to support my free virtual storytelling workshops for isolated queer and trans folks of all ages and get one of these amazing UNBRICKABLES right here. Plus there’s many more, with all the Kelli Dunham favorites (unfavorites? )about TSA and nuns and gender and hope and stories. And oh, surfing in hell! See the full annotated list and make your purchase on my website here.
